Once injected, Radiesse plumps the skin to give the appearance of a smoother surface. Over time, Radiesse works to stimulate the body to produce collagen naturally. Ultimately the body absorbs the product and leaves behind the natural collagen for long-lasting results. Clinical studies show that the treatment can last up to a year for many patients.

Radiesse can be injected in the following locations*:

  • Smile lines: also called the nasolabial folds, the lines that run from the corners of the nose to the corners of the mouth
  • Marionette lines: the lines that run downward from the corners of the mouth
  • Corners of the mouth: also called the oral commissures, dropping lines that make you look as though you’re frowning
  • Pre-jowl fold: the area on either side of the chin, where skin can sag due to loss of facial volume
  • Chin wrinkles: horizontal lines that can form on your chin and distract from your smile

Restylane-Lift

Similar to Restylane, the Restylane-Lift injectable dermal filler works to fill in wrinkles and fine lines. Restylane-Lift also adds volume to hollow areas of the face for smoother, tighter skin. While Restylane has smaller gel particles for filling shallow to moderate-to severe wrinkles, Restylane-Lift utilizes larger particles for better results on severe wrinkles that require a deeper injection for treatment.

After a single treatment of Restylane-Lift, many patients see results for up to six months. The specific treatment requirements and frequency of treatment sessions will vary depending on the severity and number of wrinkles or lines that need treatment.

Like Restylane, Restylane-Lift is ideal for adding volume and fullness and correcting moderate to several facial wrinkles. Laugh or smile lines, upper lip lines, corner of the mouth lines, and nose-to-mouth lines make the best candidates for wrinkle reduction and volume correction. Restylane-Lift is also currently the only hyaluronic acid filler approved by the FDA for hand rejuvenation.
