The area may be cleaned with alcohol before the injections are given. After being cleaned and assessed, the area may be given up to 50 small injections to try and distribute the product evenly. Although the treatment is not usually painful, you may sense some slight discomfort. It may take some time before you see results, and more than one treatment may be needed to achieve optimal results.
What Should I Tell My Kybella® Provider?
It is important to inform your Kybella® provider if you have had any past or planned cosmetic treatments on the face or neck region. It is also important to inform them about any conditions you may have, such as bleeding problems, trouble breathing, currently or planning on becoming pregnant, or currently or planning on breastfeeding.
Are There Any Side Effects With Kybella®?
There are a few side effects that may follow after undergoing the injections. You may experience some swelling, hardness, bruising, pain, redness, and numbness.
