Dermal Fillers in Bedford
Restylane, Perlane, Juvederm Ultra XC ( with lidocaine).
Hyaluronic acid exists naturally in all living organisms. Our skin houses about 56% of the hyaluronic acid produced in our body. As we age our cells lose the ability to produce hyaluronic acid. Now with the help of Dermal Fillers, our Dermal Filler doctors can help our Bedford patients replace volume loss due to aging, and have a more youthful looking face. These dermal filler injections are reversible and fully bio-compatible, biodegradable, natural and safe. No testing is required.
JUVEDERM and RESTYLANE fillers provide long and lasting results. These skin tightening fillers are great for correcting moderate to severe facial wrinkles, nasolabial folds, vertical lips lines that appear in the skin above and below your lips, filling out thin lips for a more sensual look.
JUVEDERM and RESTYLANE fillers are used with great results for plumping and lifting cheeks, jawlines, and temples and plumping sagging hands.
This dermal filler replenishes skin’s volume and helps to smooth moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds . Because Radiesse is made of tiny calcium-based microspheres it provides immediate volume and contour to your face. The Radiesse filler can be used with great results for hand rejuvenation.
Once injected, Radiesse plumps the skin to give the appearance of a smoother surface. Over time, Radiesse works to stimulate the body to produce collagen naturally. Ultimately the body absorbs the product and leaves behind the natural collagen for long-lasting results. This treatment is clinically proven to last a year or more in many patients.
Radiesse can be injected in the following locations*:
- Smile lines: also called the nasolabial folds, are the lines that run from the corners of the nose to the corners of the mouth
- Marionette lines: the lines that run downward from the corners of the mouth
- Corners of the mouth: also called the oral commissure, if these are turned downward it can make you look as though you’re frowning
- Pre-jowl fold: the area on either side of the chin, where skin can sag due to loss of facial volume
- Chin wrinkles: horizontal lines that can form on your chin and distract from your smile
Similar to Restylane, the Perlane injectable filler works to fill in wrinkles and fine lines. Perlane also adds volume to hollow areas of the face for smoother, tighter skin. While Restylane has smaller gel particles for filling shallow to moderate-to severe wrinkles, Perlane utilizes larger particles for better results on severe wrinkles that require a deeper injection for treatment.
After a single treatment of Perlane, many patients see results for up to six months. The specific treatment requirements and frequency of treatment sessions varies depending on the severity and number of wrinkles or lines being treated.
Like Restylane, Perlane is ideal for adding volume and fullness and correcting moderate to several facial wrinkles. Laugh or smile lines, upper lip lines, corner of the mouth lines, and nose-to-mouth lines make the best candidates for wrinkle reduction and volume correction.
Dermal fillers for facial and hand rejuvenation, in most cases, are synthetic calcium hydroxylapatite (Radiesse®), hyaluronic acid (Juvederm®, Restylane®, Prevelle Silk®, Perlane®, Belotero Balance®) or autologous (natural) fat.
Elena performs traditional treatment with microcannulas for areas such as: nasolabial folds, cheeks, melomental troughs (marionette lines), lip dermal fillers, and pre-jowl sulci. The increased safety, patient comfort, and accuracy of using the microcannula for injectable fillers will soon make it the standard of care.
